Set inside The Dubai Mall, Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo brings guests face to face with sharks, rays and thousands of fish without leaving the city centre. The giant tank is visible from the mall itself, but a ticket takes you much closer, into the walk-through tunnel and up to the zoo galleries above.
On the Ground Level, a 48-metre acrylic tunnel lets you stroll beneath the main tank as sand tiger sharks and rays glide overhead. Most guests spend 15 to 30 minutes here. Upstairs on Level 2, the Underwater Zoo is arranged into themed areas, Rainforest, Rocky Shore and Living Ocean, where you can meet residents such as penguins, otters and the aquarium’s famous saltwater crocodiles. Allow roughly 45 minutes to an hour and a half, longer if you stay for a feeding presentation.
Depending on the ticket chosen, extras can include a ride on the glass-bottom boat over the main tank and add-on animal encounters with penguins, otters, rays or the King Croc. Certified and beginner divers can also enquire about shark dives and cage snorkelling, which are booked separately.
Because it is indoors and air-conditioned, the aquarium is an easy choice in any season and fits neatly around a visit to Burj Khalifa or the Dubai Fountain. Tickets are usually valid for a single entry on your chosen day. Send us your preferred date and group size, and we will confirm the available ticket options and final price on WhatsApp before any payment.
