Ras Al Khaimah, the UAE’s northernmost emirate, offers a very different side of the country: date palm plantations, mangrove-lined creeks, centuries-old forts and the jagged Hajar Mountains rising straight out of the plain. This private day trip from Dubai takes your group there in comfort, in a car reserved just for you, with a professional chauffeur from our own team.

The first major stop is Dhayah Fort, the only hilltop fort still standing in the UAE. A short climb up its stone steps rewards you with sweeping views over palm groves, the coast and the mountains, and a sense of how this strategic lookout once guarded the area. Back in the city, time in old Ras Al Khaimah gives a feel for the traditional heart of the emirate, with its heritage buildings and creekside setting.

Up to the roof of the Emirates

The highlight is the drive up Jebel Jais, the highest mountain in the UAE. The smooth mountain road climbs through a dramatic series of switchbacks, with viewpoints along the way where you can stop for photos of the canyons below. Near the summit, temperatures are noticeably cooler than on the coast, which makes it a refreshing escape for much of the year. Optional activities on the mountain, such as the Jais Flight zipline or a meal at a summit restaurant, can be arranged on request at extra cost.

The trip is private for up to six guests per car, so the pace can follow your interests, whether that means more time for photos or an extra coffee stop. Tell us your preferred date and group size, and we will confirm the plan and final price on WhatsApp before any payment.
