Aquaventure World at Atlantis The Palm holds Guinness World Records titles for the largest waterpark and the most waterslides in a single waterpark. Spread along the crescent of Palm Jumeirah, it combines towering slides, fast rapids, long lazy rivers and children’s play areas with a stretch of private beach facing the Arabian Gulf.

Thrill-seekers usually head first for the tower slides with near-vertical drops and enclosed tubes that run through shark-filled lagoons, while families can float along the rivers or let younger children loose in the splash zones. Several rides have their own height limits, so the park works best when you plan the day around who is in your group.

Good to know before you go

The park currently opens daily from around 10:00 to 18:30. Swimwear is required on the rides and standard swimsuits, rash guards, board shorts and burkinis are accepted, while cotton clothing, abayas and street clothes are not. Outside food and drink are not allowed, and lockers and towels can be rented at the entrance. Guests taller than 1.2 m need an adult ticket, and children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
