Yas Waterworld is an outdoor water park with an Emirati theme, built around the story of a lost pearl. Spread across an area roughly the size of 15 football pitches, it offers a mix of family pools, gentle splash zones and serious high-speed slides, and it stays open all year.
Thrill seekers usually make straight for Dawwama, a six-person tornado slide described as the world’s first and largest hydromagnetic-powered slide, or the Liwa Loop free-fall slide. Bubble’s Barrel creates three-metre waves on what the park calls the world’s largest surfable sheet wave, while the Al Raha River lazy river is the place to slow down and float.
With more than 40 headline rides and around 60 rides, slides and experiences in total, a whole day passes quickly. Families can hire shaded cabanas, and lockers are available. Most rides have height restrictions for safety, and pricing is based on height, with guests under 1.1 metres paying the junior rate.
Swimwear rules are strict: no denim, long trousers, front-zip or button shirts, clothing with metal fittings or regular nappies (swim nappies are sold on site). Send us your date and party details and we will confirm availability and the final price on WhatsApp before any payment.
