At the Top SKY is the premium way to see Burj Khalifa. It takes you to level 148, about 555 metres above the ground, before continuing down to the main decks on levels 125 and 124, so you enjoy the full sweep of views in one visit with far fewer crowds than the standard experience.

A more personal visit

SKY guests use separate, fast-track queues and are welcomed by a guest ambassador who accompanies the visit with commentary in several languages. On level 148 you relax in the SKY lounge with Arabic coffee, dates or sweets and soft drinks, and step out onto the outdoor deck at 555 metres for a view that reaches across Downtown Dubai to the Gulf coast and desert. Interactive screens help identify landmarks below.

Then down to levels 125 and 124

Guests can spend up to around 30 minutes on level 148, then continue to level 125, with its mashrabiya-inspired design and 360-degree views, and level 124 with its open-air terrace and telescopes. There is no fixed time limit on the lower decks, and the operator says an average visit lasts about an hour and a half.

Children under three currently enter free and the whole experience is wheelchair accessible. Smart casual dress is recommended. It is especially rewarding at sunset or for a special occasion, when the calmer lounge setting makes a real difference.
