Dubai Crocodile Park, beside Mushrif Park, is home to around 250 Nile crocodiles, some of them reaching five metres in length. The animals live in a landscaped setting of roughly 20,000 square metres, with lakes, waterfalls and sandbanks designed to echo their native African habitat.

Above and below the water

Walkways and viewing points let you watch the crocodiles basking on the banks, while an aquarium offers an underwater view as they glide through the water. A natural history museum traces about 200 million years of crocodilian evolution, giving context to the prehistoric look of these reptiles. The grounds also include a savanna-inspired area, African lodge-style dining outlets and a curio shop.

Feeding times and encounters

The most dramatic moment of the visit is the feeding session, currently held on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at 5:30pm. On any day, the Baby Crocodile Encounter, currently at 11:30am and 4:30pm, gives a closer look at young crocodiles under the guidance of keepers. Timing your visit around one of these sessions is well worthwhile.

The park is currently open daily from 10am to 8pm. Children under 3 enter free with a paying adult, and under-12s must be accompanied by someone aged 16 or over. Outside food and drink are not permitted. Bookings usually need to be made at least 24 hours in advance, so send us your preferred date early and we will confirm availability and the final price on WhatsApp.
