Global Village is where much of Dubai spends its cooler evenings. This open-air festival park gathers dozens of country pavilions in one place, each selling crafts, textiles, sweets and souvenirs from its homeland, while food stalls serve everything from Turkish ice cream to Thai street snacks. Season 31 opened on 14 October 2026 and runs until May 2027.
The park comes alive after sunset. Pavilions such as the Americas and Bahrain showcase architecture and culture alongside their market stalls, and the main stages host a rolling programme of cultural performances, stunt shows and family entertainment, with fireworks and drone displays on many nights. Show times change regularly, so it is worth checking the schedule on the day.
Carnaval, the park’s funfair, offers rides from gentle carousels to thrill rides such as the Athens Slingshot, paid for with ride points. Other attractions, including Exo Planet City, are also charged separately from entry. Height limits apply to many rides.
The park currently opens at 4pm daily, closing at midnight Sunday to Wednesday and 1am Thursday to Saturday. Tuesdays are reserved for ladies and families, except on public holidays. Children under 3, seniors aged 65 and over, and People of Determination enter free. Allow at least three hours and wear comfortable shoes, as there is a lot of ground to cover.
