CLYMB Abu Dhabi on Yas Island brings two big adrenaline experiences under one roof: indoor skydiving and climbing. Connected to Yas Mall and a short walk from the island’s theme parks, it is an easy add-on to a Yas day out, and no previous experience is needed to take part in the beginner sessions.
The flight chamber is one of the largest indoor skydiving tunnels in the world, around 10 metres wide and 25 metres tall. After a safety briefing and suit-up, an instructor stays with you as powerful air lifts you off the mesh floor, letting you experience the sensation of freefall without jumping from a plane. Experienced flyers can book longer sessions and coaching.
The climbing area includes several walls of increasing difficulty, from auto-belay and bouldering routes for newer climbers to top-rope and lead walls for those with more experience. The headline is the Summyt, an indoor wall rising around 43 metres, one of the tallest of its kind. The Half Day Pass gives four hours of climbing time with helmet, harness and climbing shoes included, and instructors check equipment before you start.
