Deep Dive Dubai in Nad Al Sheba is home to an indoor pool that reaches 60 metres at its deepest point and holds around 14 million litres of fresh water. Rather than a plain tank, the pool is designed as an abandoned sunken city, with streets, apartments, a garage with cars and even an arcade spread across different depths, inspired by the UAE’s pearl-diving heritage.

You do not need to be a certified diver. Beginners usually choose the Discover Scuba experience, which currently starts at 10 years old and takes guests down to a maximum of 12 metres with an instructor. Non-swimmers can try the Sunken City Walk using a full-face mask, children from six can snorkel at the surface, and freediving introductions are offered from 13. Certified divers can explore deeper levels within the limits of their qualifications.

Safety and what to expect

Every guest completes a fit-to-dive health form before entering the water. The centre is staffed by trained instructors and monitored by dozens of underwater cameras, with a hyperbaric chamber on site. Equipment and a wetsuit are provided; you simply bring swimwear and slippers. Professional photo and video packages are available if you want to keep a record of your dive.

Plan for about two hours including briefing and kitting up. Because the experience involves pressure changes, avoid flying or going up very high buildings for 18–24 hours afterwards. Tell us which experience you prefer, and we will confirm the time slot and price on WhatsApp.
