Right next to Dubai Miracle Garden, Dubai Butterfly Garden offers a gentler, quieter kind of wonder. Inside its climate-controlled domes, somewhere between 8,000 and 10,000 butterflies from more than 50 species flutter freely among tropical plants, often settling on railings, flowers and occasionally visitors’ shoulders.
The garden is arranged around two domes, kept warm and humid so the butterflies thrive. Alongside the live displays there is an educational area that explains the butterfly life cycle from egg to caterpillar to chrysalis, and a small museum showing artworks created from real butterflies. A kids’ cinema, cafe treats and souvenir shops by the entrance round out the visit.
Because the domes are indoors and air-conditioned outside the butterfly areas, the garden stays open all year, including the summer months when the Miracle Garden is closed. It is currently open from 9am to 6pm, with last entry 30 minutes before closing. Children under 3 and People of Determination (with ID) enter free.
Guests are asked not to touch the butterflies’ wings, to keep food and drink outside the domes and to supervise children closely. Photography is welcome, and staff are on hand to help you spot species. Many visitors combine the garden with Dubai Miracle Garden in season using a combination ticket. Send us your preferred date and we will confirm availability and the final price on WhatsApp.
