High in the Hajar Mountains of Ras Al Khaimah, Jebel Jais has become the UAE’s adventure capital, and its ziplines are the main event. Jais Flight is billed as the world’s longest zipline: a 2.83-kilometre line strung around 1,680 metres above sea level, where riders fly face-down, superhero style, at speeds of up to 160 km/h. Since it opened in 2018, well over 100,000 people have taken the plunge.
After check-in, a safety briefing and harness fitting, you are taken up to the launch platform on the mountainside. The main flight takes around two to three minutes and ends on a suspended landing platform high above the valley, before a second, shorter line brings you down to the ground. The views of canyons, ridges and distant plains are spectacular throughout.
The Jais Sky Tour offers a different kind of thrill. Over around two hours, guests travel about five kilometres across six ziplines at speeds of up to 60 km/h, crossing a sky bridge along the way. It is a more scenic, family-friendly option that suits riders who want plenty of time in the air without the extreme speed of Jais Flight.
Both experiences have strict height, weight and age requirements, and they can be paused when wind or weather is unsuitable. Let us know which experience you would like, your preferred date and each rider’s age and weight, and we will confirm availability and your final price on WhatsApp before any payment. Transfers from Dubai can be arranged separately.
